This gamemode requires individuals to run from one side of a massive workshop expanse to the other. This mode was played in the ‘Grand Finals All Stars’ 2020 event and made for some particularly hilarious viewing as it became the tiebreaker.Īlso known as ‘Dodge Rein’.

It’s equally as hilarious as it is frustrating, since it’s easier to dodge being killed when you are tiny, therefore the teamfights go back and forth and typically go to overtime. This gamemode is a 6v6 team fight where you grow each time you kill. I have gotten away with some hilarious spots out in the open since corners and bushes are the first place they seek.įinally, there’s ‘Tiny Overwatch’ where your character model starts out 20x smaller than the average size. After the 30 seconds pass, two characters that are typically larger than normal and have reduced cooldowns come and seek the hiders. Hectic and brilliant! Secondly, and my personal favourite game type, ‘Tiny Hide and Seek’ where characters are as small as a healthpack and get 30 seconds to hide. First of all, there’s ‘Tiny Overwatch’ where you’re all crammed into one tiny room and there’s just so many ultimates happening at once. There are several different types of Tiny overwatch you’ll find in the custom games tab. This game mode is great to pass time whilst in a queue or to have some casual fun with friends. I’ve seen people aim at somebody close to them so they barely have a chance to react, thus killing them. Over time, the ball speeds up which makes it more difficult to time the deflect ability well. Your deflect ability is on a cooldown, so you have to time it well. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, there’s some elements in this game to make your life more difficult. Once the ball reaches the player they must deflect to send it to another player, if the player misses then they die and the ball resets.

Make sure you get used to the timing at each speed!Īlso known as ‘Genji Dodgeball’, this game mode starts with players as Genji focused on the centre where a ball will appear already locked on to a player. Each time your character touches the ‘rope’ you lose a life and have five lives in total. Everybody spawns in as Torbjörn underneath a Jump rope that begins moving immediately and after a couple of spins, begins to speed up.
